This presence of 256QAM support drastically increases the 2.4 GHz data rate by boosting it from 150 Mbps to 200 Mbps. The 200 Mbps speed delivered by the 2.4 GHz band can be used for normal usage while the 5 GHz band can be used to cater to heavy internet usage that occurs during online gaming and HD streaming. The 5 GHz band delivers speeds of up to 433 Mbps.
